Getting Your PI More Involved

I recently posted a discussion on our linkedin CONTENT groups for industry professionals who may be interested in participating as enKap instructors for upcoming GCP training workshops we are developing. I received a number of responses, including Charles Pierce of CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services.

Reading his linkedin profile, I was struck (awed actually) by the fact that Charles was both an M.D. and a Ph.D. (How many people in the world have these combination of degrees?)

Having barely managed to eak out a B.A. degree myself, I thought, “Anyone who has the talent, endurance and drive to stay in school for that length of time and attain those two distinguished degrees-sign me up- I’m a fan!

Anyway, after Charles and I spoke, I learned he had an enormous amount of experience in delivering training. As an example of his work, he sent me a powerpoint presentation of one of his lectures, “GCP and FDA Regulations with Respect to Investigator Responsibility: How to get your PI more Involved.” I asked him and he agreed to share this information-packed presentation with our training content groups. enKap is serving our community of industry professionals by providing good quality “how to” FDA Compliance content related to meeting GMP, GCP and GLP requirements. But we need additional industry professionals to continue to feed us good, effective content we can distribute.

So in that regard, if you have any articles, SOPs, checklists, or other documents you would be willing to share with our thousands of industry professionals we market to, we would be interested in hearing from you. There is no better way to demonstrate your expertise than through sharing content. As they say, “Content is King."

enKap GCP Training Workshops

After a number of conversations with GCP subject matter experts this past week, we are developing plans to offer our unique format of GCP training workshops in the near future. (Please refer to my blog, "Thoughts on Effective Training")

In the already crowded GCP training workshop arena, where industry professionals have about a million training choices to select from, our GCP workhops will mirror our upcoming GLP Workshops,where attendees will participate in a number of group application exercises.

We’re excited about elbowing our way into the GCP training market. Our GCP Training CONTENT group has been growing steadily since June 2009. We have nearly 700 professionals around the globe who are members.
